SummerTan.com established its online presence more than nine years ago in the year 2000. Saidel Websites is a privately owned company headquartered in Renton (just South of Seattle) Washington. Saidel Websites have been in business for 9 years and we have extensive internet e-commerce retail experience, and we specialize in UV Sunlamps. We understand the importance of quality customer service and offering only brand new factory direct, high quality products.

Our company is managed by its owners  so we are motivated to provide quality products and service, and it also allows us to keep our overhead expenses low so that we can keep your prices low. We specialize in the products we sell, focusing our efforts in specific areas, unlike 'big box' stores or other big online operations that will sell anything they can take a picture of.

Are they a legitimate company with safe and secure ordering?  Yes we are. We have been in business for ten years. It's normal for customers to ask this question, and quite frankly the easiest way confirm our validity is just look at our website name:  SummerTan.com  - an excellent name for our store that specializes in home tanning products, and obviously not a website that just 'popped up' yesterday. Customers are welcome to call us with any questions or to place their order by telephone. Are they selling a quality product?  Anyone with an internet store can sell just about anything these days. We have done our research and testing, and have chosen a few select quality products made/manufactured by reputable companies. Our product line has not changed very much over the last nine years because we offer the highest quality home tanning products on the market. With a name like Summer Tan we could sell any product line related to tanning, but we stick only with the products we know to be the best, and we stand behind these products, often with extended warranties because we are so confident of the quality. If you look on the individual product detail pages you will see we provide a lot of information and specifications along with photographs of our products so you are fully informed before you purchase. Our primary products are Sperti Sunlamps, SunQuest Tanning Canopies, The Dr. Kern HT-420 salon sunlamp and Acne Lamp, and Au Courant Sunless Tanning Products.

SunQuest - manufacturer of mobile & convenient tanning canopies featuring premium Wolff tanning bulbs. An authorized distributor for 7 years.

Dr. Kern - manufacturer of the HT-420 salon sunlamp and acne therapy lamp. An authorized distributor for 4+ years.


Am I getting a good price?  Yes, our prices are excellent and we have a low price guarantee on all the products mentioned above! It is easy to comparison shop online so we understand that we need to maintain the lowest prices to win your business. A) You will not find lower prices for the SunQuest canopies - fact. Our prices are set at the factory minimum price set by the manufacturer, then we offer the lowest shipping fees available. B) You will not find lower prices for the Au Courant Sunless Tanning product line - fact, and we have very low "Priority Mail" shipping fees. C ) Our prices on all Sperti Sunlamps - Tanning Lamps are the lowest available. In the rare event a competitor has a sale, we'll match that price.  D) Again, we buy factory direct - so you get the lowest price available!

How long will I have to wait for my order?   One of the biggest drawbacks of shopping online is waiting to receive your package.  With many other online stores you have no idea how long it will take for your order to actually get processed, and then how long it will take before you receive it. Even if a company advertises a particular shipping method, "Fed Ex 3 Day" or "Priority Mail" for example, your order may not be processed and shipped out for a week or more - WE PROCESS AND SHIP QUICKLY. Lastly, we guarantee safe and undamaged delivery of your product. In the rare instance an item is damaged during shipping we will immediately have it replaced.

- We process and ship out ALL UV Sunlamp - Tanning Lamp orders within 2 business days.
- We process and ship out ALL Au Courant orders within 2 business days.
- We process and ship out ALL SunQuest Tanning Canopy orders within 3 - 4 business days.

Credit Cards:    We accept all major credit cards including:   Visa,  MasterCard,  Discover,  and  American Express. You may order by telephone during business hours or you can order safely and securely online. Ordering online is always more efficient and faster for both parties.

Check Cards or Debit Cards:    As long as the card has either a Visa or MasterCard logo on it, it will process just like a regular credit card.

Pay by Check:   If you would like to pay by check you may do so, however, upon receipt of your check we must wait 7 days for your check to clear before we can ship your products.

Pay by Money Order:    If you pay with a money order we will ship your products immediately upon receipt of your payment.  We accept personal checks, but due to several experienced with bad checks we have to wait 10 days before shipping. Money orders or cashiers checks can be easily purchased at any Post Office or Bank.

Financing:    Some customers are interested in financing (payment plans) for our SunQuest tanning canopies. We have researched this option and found that it is much easier for a credit worthy customer to request a credit line increase from their existing credit card bank rather than go through a new credit review and open a new credit account just for one purchase.

Credit Card Security:   We use an encrypted secure payment gateway. Your card information is encrypted and safe. Our other merchant (card processing) services are provided by First Data, among the largest and best merchant banks today. We do NOT keep your personal credit card information on our company computer system.  *For more detailed information on shipping & credit card security please go to our "Secure Ordering & Shipping Info" page.

All of our Sunlamps ship directly from the factory warehouse in Kentucky, and we offer several shipping options, and most ship with UPS. The location of the KY factory means the shipping transit time is just 1-5 days depending on your location/distance from Kentucky.

All Au Courant orders are shipped with US Postal Service Priority Mail. On average, this takes just 2-3 days anywhere within the continental USA.

Tanning Canopies are shipped directly from the manufacturers warehouse in Indianapolis. Depending on your location, shipping/transit takes 3-8 days.

APO & FPO addresses: we do ship to APO/FPO for a small added fee.
*Notice to APO/FPO customers: if you are stationed/live overseas, remember these sunlamps run on 110 volts only, most overseas power sources are 220 volts and like any 110 volt appliance, 220 volts will 'fry'/ruin your unit if you plug them in to a 220 volt socket. If you are using one overseas you must use a quality step-down transformer and a 110 volt surge protector.

Overseas Customers: if you choose to have your sunlamp shipped overseas, we DO NOT warranty these units. There have been too many overseas customers using poor quality step down transformers or not using a step down processor at all - resulting in electrical damage. All USA & Canada orders have a full warranty, but there is NO WARRANTY on units shipped overseas. - We can assist you, but cannot provide a warranty for overseas units.

Alaska: yes, we ship our Sunlamps to Alaska with US Postal Priority Mail for a small added shipping fee.

Canadian Orders:  Any taxes/duties/tariffs/broker fees charged by Canadian customs or UPS within Canada is the responsibility of the Canadian customer. We now offer customers the option of having their sunlamps ship with US Postal Mail Service which helps reduce the amount of Canadian taxes charged. The added fee for this service is about $10 more, be sure to ask for this option when ordering, or choose the Canada shipping option if ordering online.

We cannot ship the SunQuest tanning beds canopies to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada.

We can ship sunlamps to Hawaii - call or email for a shipping quote.

Shipping to other USA (non-continental) territories (Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc.) have varying rates, please email us with a shipping quote request.

We can ship sunlamps to P.O. Boxes since we offer US Postal Priority Mail shipping.

International Orders:  At present we only accept and ship U.S. orders and Canadian orders.  * We DO ship to APO and FPO addresses.
