The HT 420 coverage is larger than other sunlamps. As an example of the coverage
area, the average sized person sitting in front of the HT 420 will have coverage
from their head down to mid or lower torso (depending on your height).

The suns natural rays give warmth, visible light and
ultraviolet light. In regard to their effect on the skin, the UV spectrum is
subdivided into the UV-A, UV-B and UV-C segments. The longer UV-A wave are
gentle to the skin, even at higher concentrations, and tan the pigments just
beneath the surface of the skin. Light in the UV-B range is what initiates the
formation of pigment, but it can also cause sunburn. The atmosphere shields us
against the UV-C rays, which as a result do not reach the earths surface.
Filtering out these UV-B rays almost entirely will effectively eliminate
sunburn. But the production of melanine would then not stimulated. This
substance is converted into pigment in the cells at the surface of the skin; it
then darkens under the influence of UV-A light, causing the skin to tan. The
UV-A light of the sun is very slow in causing a tan. Only at intensities higher
than those of natural sunlight is UV-A able to tan the skin more quickly, by
means of so-called direct pigmentation of the pigments already present in the
skin. Nowhere on earth the sun can supply UV-A radiation at this level without
an accordingly high share of UV-B. Only a high performance unit with a costly
filter and cooling system can generate this level of UV output, and that unit is
our HT 420. -

To Buy or Not to Buy?
As with
any purchase like this, the usual question you ask yourself
is: 'Will I Actually Use It'? -The answer is:
'Yes, Why Not?'. Our Sunlamp won't be like
that set of golf clubs or roller blades that just sit in
your closet, because all you have to do is plug it in and
turn it on. You're using it at home so you don't have to get
ready to go to the tanning salon, and you can use it any day
- any time. Now that the Summer sun has gone away you will
use it to keep that attractive & healthy looking summer tan
that you had this Summer. It doesn't take a lot of time, and
it's actually relaxing to sit in front of it's bright
comfortable warmth. In summary, yes - you will use it, there
is no reason why you wouldn't use it. You'll keep a good
looking tan year round as well as receive the beneficial
Vitamin D that the body naturally generates with UV

| RETURN POLICY: requests to
return our sunlamps are very rare, but when we receive one it is
usually from a customer who has used the sunlamp to achieve a
tan for vacation, wedding, prom, or other social event, and now
prefer to have their money back. Since sunlamps are seasonal
items (not much need for them in the summer) we do get some
return requests in the summer months. Lastly, some customers
simply have financial distress and need the money. Other than
these reasons above, return requests are extremely rare, as
there is really no other reasons to request a return. -We cannot
accept used/returned Sunlamps back into stock. We sell only
brand new factory direct units with a manufacturers warranty,
and do not sell used or refurbished units. No returns are
accepted.
We do
guarantee safe and undamaged delivery. We do provide a
manufacturers warranty for the very rare instances that there is
a problem. These UV tanning lamps are proven effective,
it's simple science of Ultraviolet Light, if you can tan from
the sun's UV rays you will tan from a Sunlamp's UV rays. These
units are very well built here in the USA, and defects are very
rare, but if there is a defect - it is covered by your warranty.
For your peace of mind, return requests are much less than 1%
(about 1 out of every 250 customers). Our sunlamps have been in
constant manufacture for over 60 years (with upgrades and
improvements over the years of course). If you have any
